Russell locks up the #1 seed outright in the 63rd tonight with one game to go in district. Greenup  Lost to Lewis County tonight.  5-0 in the district with one to go. Greenup County goes to 2-2 in the district.

    First 20 win season for Russell in ten years and longest winning streak (15 games) in ... I have no idea. I'm going to guess over 30 years, at least.

    This crew is winning on the strength of stifling defense and interior play from Damon Charles. They should roll Elliott County next before a series of challenging games to close out the regular season.
