Covington Holy Cross's Julia Hunt

Last night in a loss to Christian Academy-Louisville (68-60), Holy Cross Junior forward Julia Hunt went over 1,000 career rebounds. She went over 1,000 career points late last year and will be close to 500 career rebounds by the end of this season. I don't recall many players on the girls or boys side in recent years to compile 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 500 blocks. I'm sure it has happened but has to be kind of rare. She still has her senior left to play so who knows how much she can add to these career totals. Kudos to a tremendous player and even better young lady!

Those are super impressive numbers:  1,000 / 1,000 / 500...with a year to go.  The thing that always hits me when I've watched her play is that she always seems to be smiling.  Hope she kills it in volleyball at Washington after she graduates next year.

Tremendous young lady who is always smiling. And I agree can't wait to see what she can do at Washington.
