Final.  Very close/contested ballgame in a seed game.  These two will lock up again this coming Tues. @ Somerset Christian in a semifinal of the 12th Region All A Tourney.

DCA is going to be a tough out for teams in the 12th region, they are long and athletic. If you don't have shooters you might as well forget about beating DCA. Danville lacks shooting and size. Danville needs to use its speed more and press, and create turnovers. Danville needs to play Dunn, Brown, Barnes, Bryant and Bixler, that's there best lineup. Dut for DCA is so so good keeping you on your heels driving the basketball down your throat. All in All rematch next week, I know Danville will be more than ready, and I'm sure Coach McKinney will have them ready.

Yes, you have to be able to knock down jumpers. Not just threes but mid range. The big kid is such a game changer defensively. They really extend their zone and that leaves the middle pretty open. A team with the ability to take advantage of that is probably the best path to beating them. That’ll take someone that can consistently knock down the FT line jumper, pulling their big kid away from the rim. Or, if they have two bigs that are effective, that would work. But I don’t think any of the other top 4 teams have that.

Danville was down 12 at half (didn't pressure much in 1st).  And, came out in the 3rd Q and got after DCA in the full ct.  I think you're dead on about the formula for Danville.  Outside of Boyd, DCA struggles handling it in the full ct.  The rematch will be a war.

Somerset "should" be waiting in the finals where the best thing they do offensively is spread you, and shoot the 3.  Collectively, they shoot 38% from the 3 as a team so should be an action packed week @ Somerset Christian for the All A crown.  I may look at doing an extensive breakdown of the All A over the weekend.

Lincoln will cause DCA problems. They got a True PG in Alcorn, knock down shooters in Ralston and Simms and a physical big in Bishop. Danville lacks a PG and a big, that's why I don't see them beating DCA this year. Every team in the 45th has a big but Danville. Garrard (Sula) DCA (Big Lua) Boyle (Tarter) Lincoln (Bishop) Danville (nobody). Ads gotta play desperate on the defensive end and try to cause turnovers.
