Coach Vanderpool comes from North Laurel, where he was their Defensive Coordinator for the 2022 season. Prior to that he had been the DC at Great Crossing for two seasons, and was an assistant at Whitley County prior to his stop at Great Crossing. He's a Whitley County native and played college football for the Cumberlands Patriots.

Congratulations to Coach Vanderpool and the Wolverines!
