South Oldham and Seneca square off in a rematch of their 10/14 matchup in Crestwood in round 2 of the Class 5A playoffs....

South has won 7 of their last 8 games, scoring over 40 points in 6 of those wins (and 38 in the other).    Among those was a 42-0 win over Seneca in October in a game when the South defense bent, but didn't break, allowing Seneca several drives deep into South territory, but 0 points.

Seneca has had its best season in a long, long time.....the Redhawks have gone 3-0 since that loss to South Oldham, outscoring their three opponents, 152-0 during that stretch.

Despite the lopsided score in the last meeting, this could very well be a very competitive game on the scoreboard.    For Seneca to pull the upset, though, the Redhawks will have to find a way to slow that South offense, which they couldn't do last time.

Pegasus Sports will go on air with live coverage beginning at 6:30 pm ET ....keep in mind, the archived version will be on the website indefinitely afterward.    www.pegasussportsky.com    Mike Montgomery and Mark Neu have the call.
