Not really... I think, especially early in the season, certain programs get the benefit of the doubt because of their name and conference affiliation and are simply overrated. 

I do think the transfer portal has created more balance across the sport but overall there's 5 or 6 really good to great teams each year and the rest are beatable on any given Saturday.
