Final from Marquette Stadium. Mayfield was pressed into using some really young players due to the injuries sustained last week. To the Mustangs credit, they went after those young guys and scored some points.  Mayfield also lost the starting running back, Starks, during the game. No word yet as to how severe the injury.

Dang. That is not good. First Jax and now Starks? Hopefully, a sprained ankle or something. I saw in another thread Jax is coming back? Did he not tear his Acl? 

The injury to Starks did not appear to be all that serious. We had a big lead and so I'm sure they kept him out as a precaution. As to Jax returning, that would be incredible if he could, but i have heard no official word yet.
