Notre Dame 1 Conner 0

What a great defensive game on both sides.  Abby Unkkaut did not play.  Sunny Richesson (NDA) and Laurel Frazier (Conner) both left the game with injuries.  Wishes for speedy recoveries for both these ladies.   Great saves made by Conner GK Ally Welch.

Yes very good game, both defenses made it hard for either team to get into a  flow passing the ball, and both defenses showed good recovery speed. Conner’s GK played a very good game. For NDA, Abby is done for the season, so the pandas will have to adjust going forward. Sunny left the game early, still hopeful for a positive prognosis, Tranter didn’t play the second half and a backup outside back left 15 minutes into the game both due to injury. Not insinuating that NDA wasn’t at full strength, their depth keeps them pretty solid when they go to their bench (clearly other than trying to replace Abby.) Hoping Conner’s Laurel Frazier is alright, she’s a tough girl, always plays very hard.

My heart absolutely breaks when I hear events such as this with injuries.

My sincere prayers to all for speedy recoveries....
