11^th Region Week 9 Review

           Another week, another round of snow.  Unfortunately, it looks like we may be in store for some more winter weather Wednesday to Friday. Enough about the weather, let’s talk about the action on the court.  Don’t look now, but the defending 11^th region champs, Madison Central, picked up 3 good wins over Lincoln County, Trinity, and Boyle County.  As we move into February this team will be a tough out no matter who they play.  Lexington Catholic just keeps winning as they defeated Tates Creek and Dunbar.  Henry Clay picked up two wins as well, with a big win over Woodford County at the buzzer.  Great Crossing had a solid week that ended with a very respectable 9 point loss to GRC.  Frederick Douglass seems to be hitting their stride as they have won 4 out of their last 5.  Week 10 has some great match-ups on the schedule.  It is hard to believe we only have 3 weeks left in the regular season!

Lex Catholic plays district foe in Lafayette on Tuesday, play again on Thursday night vs. Scott Co, then travel to Trinity on Friday... that is if the weather permits. I still say the top 3 you mentioned will be a tough out in the 11th.
