Texans Coaching Search

Featured Replies

With Houston firing David Culley after just one year, here is some candidates for the Texans coaching search.

Brian Flores (Former Dolphins head coach)

Joe Lombardi (Current OC LA Chargers)

Hines Ward (Former Steelers great, current special assistant to head coach Florida Atlantic).

Jonathan Gannon (Current Eagles DC).

Josh McCown (Current Texans QB Coach).

Jerod Mayon (Current linebackers coach NE Patriots).

Josh McDaniels (Current OC NE Patriots).

Texans QB DeShaun Watson seems to be a big fan of Brian Flores. Flores wanted him in Miami but he was the only one that wanted DeShaun. Speaking of DeShaun, if I'm not mistaken, his lawsuits should be over here shortly. If I'm not mistaken, I think several have already been dropped but theirs still lawsuits out there concerning him. Houston is still asking a hefty price for him.

As big of a Houston fan as I am, I want Flores. Promote Pep Hamilton to OC. I also wouldn't mind having Josh McDaniels as OC too but for head coach, for me, it has to be Brian Flores.

McDaniels already did the head coach gig in Denver and it was a disaster.   I think he's happy being the head coach in waiting in NE until Bill retires.   Kraft seems to like him and is willing to take care of him in the meantime.
