Interesting matchup.

Doug Oak's rebuilding Carroll County squad faces perhaps the best Eminence team to hit the hardwood in years.

Carroll comes in winless, but Doug Oak is a relentless teacher of the fundamentals, and he's had plenty of success.    The Panthers are going to break out soon, and Oak has some talented youngsters in Jaxon Hewitt and Andrew Shaw who can produce once they get comfortable in his system.

Meanwhile, third-year coach Gary Tuell has the Warriors humming along at 6-1, their best start in, well, decades.    The Warriors have a deep, but very young and inexperienced, team.   They will use their athleticism and depth and press for 32 minutes, and if Carroll has difficulty with the pressure, it will be a long night for the Panthers.    Playing in their beautiful new arena, the Warriors return 4 starters from last year's team - and 3 starters from the previous year's team who did not return to play last year due to the COVID situation and the delayed season.

This could be a very fun game to watch.  I'll post updates as I can.

Carroll County will still be looking for their first win after tonight.
