Gallatin County (6-4) begins its quest to win its eighth 8th Region All-A title - the Wildcats have won more 8th Region All-A titles than anyone - as they face the Williamstown Demons (8-6).

First year coach Vance Sullivan takes over the reins in Warsaw from legendary Gallatin coach Jon Jones, and the early returns are promising.   The Wildcats are a balanced scoring machine that shoots well (47% overall, 34.7% from beyond the arc, 72.3% at the line).   Drake Skidmore leads the attack at 13.8 ppg, but Kellen Dossett (13.7 ppg), Logan Riddle (11.9), Mason Arnold (10 ppg), an Ashton Guillion (10 ppg) make for a tough group of Cats to defend.

Skidmore has been on a tear of late; during the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic in Gatlingburg, TN, he hit 17 of 31 threes while averaging 19 ppg during the tourney...    Mason Arnold has posted four double-doubles in the last five games....

Williamstown is experiencing a resurgence under third-year coach Jacob Cheesman; the Demons haven't been over the .500 mark this late in the season in many, many years.    Led by a youthful guard trio, the Demons boast a balanced attack and are averaging 64.7 ppg.    Honore Yangoua (15.2 ppg) and the Feagan brothers (Colton, 14.4 ppg, and Gunner, 14.2 ppg) lead the way, but it's the experienced senior, Joel McCain (12.7 ppg / 6.2 rebounds) who holds the show together.  

This will be a great opportunity for Williamstown to see if they are ready to take the next step up in their development as they try to contend in the All-A...
