Beechwood (3-1) was led by junior guard Cameron Boyd who scored a career and game-high 37 points, including 23 in the second half.

Boyd finished 15-23 from the field, including 6-9 from beyond the arc. He also chipped in six rebounds and two steals. 

Senior guard Carl Gabbard finished with six points, both three pointers, including a key triple late in the fourth.

Adding crucial 4th quarter help for the Tigers were senior guards Ty Eviston and Carson Way, who both knocked down two free throws in the final minutes. The senior duo also combined for nine assists against only three turnovers.

Brossart senior center David Govan finished with 22 points and seven boards to lead the Mustangs (2-4).

Govan has very good foot work and soft hands for a big fella.  He is a load around the basket and is a solid rebounder.  Great game by the big man tonight.  He was impressive.
