theguru
Max Verstappen passed Lewis Hamilton on the last lap of the 2021 Season to win the championship. Hamilton and Verstappen were tied in points going into the final race and Hamilton dominated the race but a crash and safety car gave Max his best chance to pass Hamilton on the last lap and he did. I have been watching F1 for a few years now and this was by far the best season in my opinion. Congrats Max, you are my favorite driver. Purple88
That was a crazy race! And I agree Guru that last year was the best year I've watched. This season is also entertaining with the new setups and Mercedes not being automatically at the top every race. Now with the US getting 3 races by 2023, you are going to see A LOT more F1 fans. The Netflix documentary also spurred alot of growth in the States. I like it!

Definitely on Mercedes, I was shocked, they have consistently been the top constructor but this year they are a solid 3rd behind Ferrari/Red Bull.

Yes, it was a pretty entertaining race by Monaco standards as it has largely become a processional race due to the widening of the cars and the tight track. But with Ferrari's mistakes and the rain caused the brewing of a terrific race! I got to go the Indy 500 on Sunday! I think I'll add a new thread on that!
