nWo
The European model is showing the end of next week could have those in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area seeing some light wintry precipitation. A low pressure system is forecast to first travel southeastward four corners region to the Arklatex area then make a turn towards the northeast and past just south of Kentucky. This system will try to pull in some cold air with it that could change the precipitation into snow/freezing rain for those in Cincinnati/NKY area. The precipitation is forecast to remain all rain south of this area. The main thing to watch out is the track of the low. If takes a more northerly track then all of the precip. will be rain. A more southerly track could bring that rain/snow line further south. This is the map showing the cold air the low will try to bring into Kentucky. This is the map showing the rain/snow. I will be watching this closely as we get closer.

nWo
Saturday afternoon update: Some very light snow will be possible Tuesday night into the day on Wednesday. There is some difference between the Euro and GFS though. The Euro is coming in colder and so is showing more wider snow fall field but nothing to really be excited about. It also showing two waves of very light snow. First for the northern Kentucky area. The second wave mainly in the Bluegrass Regions. For now the timing is late Tuesday night into the morning on Wednesday. The GFS is coming in warmer and showing all rain for Kentucky with snow the snow line being north of Cincinnati. I will update everyone tomorrow evening.
nWo
The models are in good agreement about the system for the end of the week. It is now looking like an all rain event.
