That 44 plus is a great play but you save it when you got to have a basket

He ran alot of "C" the flare play....they double high ball screen made famous by Ricky Jones and yes the 44. Biggest difference is Greenup guards you in the half court man to man. Yes the Billy ball works best with Scott Co. players. Greenup is a skilled team with some good shooters. If they had a big player in the middle they would be really tough.

No use saving it anymore. Every team in the area runs it. I saw a good looking kid keeping the clock at Rose Hill tonight. Any idea who it was?

Wolfenberger had a big game. He is the straw that makes them go. Made a big shot to send the game to OT. The kid in the middle #24....maybe Morgan or Brown??????had a nice game. He does alot of nice things for the Musketeers. #13 Riley had a solid game, #3 made some big shots and #20 played hard all night as well...sorry for not knowing these boys names. Greenup brought in a small kid#5 off the bench, he had a nice crossover and broke down the defense alot.

I think Hick's is using poor judgement being around the parents. This is just keeping things stirred up. He does have some support there but he also has fans that wished he wasnt there. The best thing for the team is for him to disappear until the suspension is over. If he doesnt come back, this is just gona be another distraction for the team. Theyve had enough distractions without having to look up in the stands to see who's mom or dad he is sitting by. I dont think they are many coaches out there that would hang around the team while they were suspended. This is also a distraction to the current coaching staff. Sometimes you just have to put the team first. Its like he is saying look at me Im still here.

Hicks was there all decked out in his Green travel suit. He was not bothering anyone and has lots of friends in the Corbin area. Seemed like Sutton was directing the team with a tall dark haired assistant adding to the coaching. I think these two did a nice job the kids seemed to play very hard and appear to be a skilled team. All the kids can pass, dribble and shoot. They beat a far superior athletically team tonight in Byrnes. Folks in Greenup may want to give these guys a :thumb:

Wolfenbarker is a hard nosed kid who know the game. You are right he is the key to this team being successful. I know that Sutton and Wolfenbarker are close, as well as Wolfenbarker and Hicks, this has to be hard for him. It just seems like the greenup kids always have contraversy around them. Hopefully this will change and they can enjoy the rest of the season.

Sorry to mispell this young man's name. He is a player. The #3 kid from Greenup won the three point contest. He has a natural stroke.

The Dark haired coach is Sutton. The light haired Coach is Smith. They are taking turns, every other game. They work good togather. As far as their skill, Hicks practices are very intence on teaching skill.

# 3 would be Middleton. He has made great strides this season. He can stroke the three. He also is fairly athletic and jumps well. Gona be a good one.

Smith was up most of the night calling the offense. Sutton seemed to call the defense. They made a nice team. Greenup might make a run at the 16th. I agree if Hicks is gone then he should bow out gracfully.

Hick's is very good at player development and skill. I think he has listened to the people around him and got some bad advice on some decisions and it has made the wrong people mad at him. When people start looking for things, well you know, they are not many coaches that would want somebody looking at them under a microscope.

Agreed. Sometimes a change of scenery is best for all involved. I am sure Coach Hicks will land on his feet somewhere soon enough.

Im proud of the team this whole situation will make them stronger. If they can keep focused then the sky is the limit. They played Russell, (who proved they can play with the showing against Mason Co.) to 2 points on their home floor.
