Tilghman led 48-0 at the half and cruised in to the finish line. 

The hope was the offense could work on a few things in preparation for Hopkinsville, but the defense and special teams took over this one and didn't give them much of a chance. 

Tilghman travels to Hopkinsville next week.

When you have a son playing and trying to put up numbers it gives people something to talk about. I was wondering if this is what happened. Really no need to beat a team this bad?

Tilghman, like many teams, had to try to not score double that. Unfortunately, Webster is really, really bad. They put you in position to score without much effort of your own. 

The Tilghman offense didn't have to do much of anything in this one. When you put in guys to prevent more scoring and they still put up a few, there's not much you can do. 

We have these types of games across the state many times during a season, I'd be willing to say 99% of them are most definitely not trying to add insult to injury. It just is what it is.
