Frankfort High School is excited to announce Edward "Butch" Jointer has the school's 39th men's basketball coach in the program's 112 year history.

Jointer has been an integral part of the resurgence of Panther basketball as top assistant to former head coach Chris O'Bryan for the last three seasons. Under O'Bryan and his staff Frankfort High has had back to back district titles, 3 regional appearances, and an All A State Runner-Up finish.

The position attracted widespread attention due to the Panthers returning 4 starters from a regional tournament team. FHS principal Tyler Reed said, "Butch's familiarity with the student-athletes and the Panther community were key factors in naming him head coach.
