May 14, 20215 yr The Baton Rouge regional was called off due to “unplayable tournament conditions”. Top 6 seeded teams and 3 individuals move on, everyone else who qualified go home. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Lots of young ladies with their college careers cut short. In a scenario eerily similar to the women’s NCAA basketball weight room fiasco, the course was apparently good enough for the LSU men’s team to practice on the day the announcement was made.
May 14, 20215 yr This is bull-crap and heads should roll. "Playable, but not playable at a championship level." What the heck does that even mean? Like every course they practice on is always at a championship level. If you've got four or five holes with standing water on the greens...take them out of play! Replay four or five other ones, if you want to make it a full 18 holes. Or, just play it as just a 13 or 14 hole course. Anything is better than what you just did. I swear people are so stupid.
