ICYMI: Final per Phillip Steinmetz ~

Mikayla Milby's two home runs powered #7 Ballard past #1 Male, ending the Bulldogs' 45 game win streak.

"A victory would've tied the the record for most consecutive wins in state history (Greenwood). Ballard was also the last team to defeat Male in 2018 before the streak started."

Next up: Ballard (5-0) is at Collins tonight (6:00 pm). Male (6-1) plays Madison Southern on Friday (6:00 pm) in Georgetown, to kick off the Dan Cummins Classic.

Quite an achievement.
