Harrison Co. improved to 4-2 and Deming slipped to 1-6. Harrison Co. led 58-28 with 7 minutes to play, when the Breds cleared the bench. Deming's varsity outscored Harrison's junior varsity and freshmen 34-14 in the time remaining.

 

Soph. Eric Case led Harrison Co. with 17, Jim Mullinns had 13 and 10 players scored for the Breds.

 

Travis Massey led all scorers with 29, 16 of them coming after the game was well-decided in the fourth quarter.

I thought that Deming was going to be pretty tough this year? Did they have some players out due to injury or illness?
