Out of State Scores of Interest

Recommended Posts

Are you a fan of an out of state team? Are you a native of another state, and keep up with your hometown sports? Do you live elsewhere now, and want to share who's hot down the block?

Has a Kentucky team played an out of state school, and you'd like to share and compare scores?

Bluegrass Preps has, during past football seasons, posted an "OSSI" thread for members to track out of state teams. As state tournaments have already started elsewhere, we can do the same for basketball in this "catch all" thread.

From Georgia:

Wheeler 73 Centennial 63 - Class 6A semifinal

Marietta Wheeler is a basketball machine. Five NBA players starred on Wildcat state champs. The first, Sharif Abdur-Rahim; the most recent, Jaylen Brown of the Celtics.

I coached athletes in a different sport, who attended Wheeler. Did some officiating there too.

Moeller and Cincy X went to overtime tonight, with the Mighty Men of Moe gutting one out 72 - 69.

Great season for Xavier. Really like what Coach Noszka has done with the Bombers in just two years.

In the other Regional semi:

Centerville 52 Elder 43

It's Moeller v. Centerville for a trip to the D1 Final 4.

Cincinnati Metro Area - Division II Regional semifinal (Round of 16)

Biggest upset in the tournament so far.

Columbus Bp. Watterson 48

Cincinnati Abp. McNicholas 41

Congrats to the McNich Rockets on a great season.

This game went to double OT. McNick led most of regulation and were up 9 in the 3rd quarter. Tough loss.

Georgia Class 6A Final:

Wheeler 71 Kell 61

In a battle between two nationally ranked teams, the Wildcats downed their county rival at the Macon Coliseum.

Wheeler was led by two D1 commits: Ja'Heim Hudson (FGCU) and Kaleb Washington (Dayton).

Back-to-back titles for the Marietta school and eighth overall. It was the fourth GA championship win for Coach Larry Thompson, his last two with the Wildcats.
