Interesting that Spencer played zone tonight against South Oldham. Conventional wisdom suggests you can’t  play zone against the Dragons because they’ll just shoot over you, but it clearly wasn’t the case tonight.

Spencer did a real good job of closing on the shooters, while at the same time preventing the Dragons from penetrating.   Really nice defensive balancing act that was very effective.

South still managed to get open looks beyond the arc, but the Dragons weren't hitting them tonight, making just 6 of 23 three attempts.
