Oldham County vs. Great Crossing Predictions/Updates (Cancelled)

Featured Replies

WHO:   Great Crossing at Oldham County HS

WHERE:  Buckner, KY

WHEN:  Thursday, 2/11/21

BROADCAST:  Free live video coverage begins at 7 pm ET on www.pegasussportsky.com

The Warhawks of Great Crossing travel to Oldham County this Thursday to tangle with the Oldham County Colonels.

Thoughts?   I don't know much of anything about the Warhawks.

Oldham is off to a 4-2 start, with losses only to #2 Ballard and #11 Highlands.    The Colonels own solid wins over Collins, South Oldham, North Oldham, and Seneca.     Seniors Tyler Slone (18.8 ppg / 7 rebounds), Deaton Oak (12.6 ppg) and Xander Wagner-Rose (11.4 ppg / 8.8 rebounds) lead the Colonels.  Wagner-Rose has posted double-doubles in at least 3 of the last 4 games (stats from the most recent game are not yet available)

Great Crossing has played a lot more games, and sports a 4-7 mark on the season.   After a 1-6 start against a murderer's row schedule, the Warhawks have now won 3 of their last 4, with victories over Mercer County, Grant County, and Berea.   Junior Carson Walls (14.0 ppg) and freshman point guard Junios Burrell (11.3 ppg) lead the Hawks.

Thoughts?

Can anyone tell me anything about the Warhawks??   I haven't seen any GC fans on the board....

Of course, a new wrinkle into the schedule is the weather.   We'll see what Thursday looks like....

This game has been cancelled. OC added a game at Doss in Louisville on Thursday at 7:30.
