Ashland gets in the win column on the young season and hands Russell its first loss after wins in their first two games.

Russell played hard throughout, but a 21-2 Ashland run in the second and third periods opened things up. The play of Zander Carter was pivotal during that stretch.

 

Russell didn't Shoot very well from 3 this game. Bell hit the 1st one in the 4th quarter.
