Trinity Wins 2020 KHSAA Golf Championship

The Shamrocks won the 2-day tournament in Bowling Green after finishing as runner-up last year.   I do not know who finished 2nd, 3rd etc., or who won the individual trophy.   The team will be honored at halftime of the Ballard football game  Friday.

Marshall County's Jay Nimmo (68-73) defeated Cooper's Rylan Wotherspoon (68-73) on the first playoff hole to capture individual medalist honors.

Trinity (Lou.) claimed the team title with a 614 score (300-314), followed by Taylor County at 618 (314-304).

Going tomorrow to the girls State Tournament. My granddaughter is playing in it for Pulaski Co. They won their region for the 3rd year in a row. She was the medalist as well.

Apollo's Macey Brown (71-74) defeated Madison Central's Elizabeth Eberle (70-75) on the first playoff hole to capture individual medalist honors. 

Marshall County claimed the team title with a 619 total (314-305), followed by second-place South Warren at 658 (324-334).
