Class 1A  - District 5 Seeding win for the Mustangs, in overtime.

Their first-ever on Pumphrey Field in Carlisle.

Trevor Schadler two rushing TDs in regulation, along with a punt return touchdown by Carson Schirmer plus two PATs by Andrew Schwartz accounted for our twenty as the Mustangs and Blue Jackets battled to a 20-20 tie in regulation.

Jacob Leicht, the Mustang junior quarterback, owned the overtime periods, scoring a pair of touchdowns and two 2-Point conversion,  Jed Martiin scored one, and newbie Carson Schirmer intercepted a Nicholas County pass to end the game.

Brossart has two more district seeding games coming up in the next two weeks - Bracken County and Paris, both at the MAC.

Bracken County lost to Paris 20-8 tonight in Paris.
