North Hardin (1-0) will take a short 7 mile ride to crosstown rival John Hardin (0-1). North Hardin comes into the game with some swagger after knocking off 5A #1 Frederick Douglass with a late field goal for a 19-17 win. John Hardin comes into the game after not being able to muster enough offense in a losing effort to Meade County 14-7. Last year North Hardin defeated John Hardin 42-7. Will North Hardin overlook John Hardin and get upset or does this talented team take care of business and roll over their crosstown neighbor? Can John Hardin use their defense to keep it respectable?

Minor possibility of a slow start for North Hardin, coming off the Douglass win. But I don't see a letdown big enough to open the door for an upset.

I think NH rolls by five scores, minimum.

There are better days ahead for John Hardin with Preston at the helm (maybe sooner rather than later), but I think this one gets away from them at some point.
