Somerset goes on the road and gets the win. Defense played really well all night. Offense had some rust to knock off but it was nice seeing new names making plays tonight. Gross came in at QB for Sheron and looked pretty good. Gavin Stevens caught 3 touchdowns (one was called back) and the big TE Hawkins caught a TD from Gross. Doan ran hard all night and when he could find a gap made positive plays tonight.

Lack of scrimmage and shortened practice time showed with some uncharacteristic penalties, but nothing that can't be cleaned up.

    Some stats:
    Senior QB Kaiya Sheron went out early in the 3rd quarter after a minor sprained ankle. For the time he was in, he threw for 133 yards, 2 passing TD’s and 1 rushing TD. 
    Backup sophomore Josh Gross came in at QB and threw for 121 yards and 2 TD passes. 
    Senior WR Kade Grundy caught 5 passes for 109 yards and rushed for 46 yards. 
    Junior WR Gavin Stevens caught 4 passes for 64 yards and 2 TD’s. 
    Junior RB Chase Doan rushed for 97 yards.
