Tom Seaver has died

The former Red and Hall of Famer was 75.

One of my all time favorites.

My first real baseball glove was a Rawlings Tom Seaver model.  I was young enough to think that Tom, himself, had actually signed it.  Loved that glove, so much so that when it wore out a few years later, I made my mom search until we could find another one just like it.  Proud to say, some 40 years later, I still have that glove.  (In fact, my son used it for a couple of years in knothole.) And all of this took place before Seaver got traded to the Reds.  Was out of this world overjoyed a few years later when I found out one of my favorite players was getting traded to my favorite team.
