Was reading this morning that both the eastern and western conference finals will be held in Edmonton. It might not make a difference but I'm curious to see if the move affects the eastern teams who will have been in Toronto for a couple of months.

Brad Marchand tied the game when he tongued grooved one by The Big Cat with 3:58 left in regulation. 4:40 into OT, though, Ondrej Palat scored the game winner for the good guys. 🙂

The series is tied 1-1.

Lightning 3 Bruins 2 2OT

After trading goals in the 2nd and 3rd periods and playing though one overtime period, Victor Hedman took 3 shots with less than 6 minutes left in the 2nd overtime, the last getting though for the game winner.

Tampa Bay wins the series 4-1.

While the Lightning wait for their opponent, Nikita Kucherov is recovering from a stick to the face incurred during the first period of game 5 of the Boston series. He skated with the team today, but no commitment was made to whether he would be available for game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Team captain, Steven Stamkos, has not skated in over a month. It looks like the Bolts will have to make the Stanley Cup Finals before #91 could possibly be available.
