The Braves are in second place in the NL East with a record of 7-4.  

The Marlins are in first place with a record of 2-1.  

Which begs the question...

They're going to have to find a way to get those missed games played.  No way you can allow a team to miss 8 games in a 60 game season, and benefit from it.  They'll have to go by total number of wins to determine who advances, and not just winning percentage.  Right?

Of course, I just remembered Rob Manfred is the commissioner...so, who the heck knows what he'll dream up.

The Cardinals have played five games so far, and are in second place in the division.

At some point, teams that need to play 9 or 10 games a week for multiple weeks just to catch up will be at a DECIDED competitive disadvantage.  Particularly from a pitching perspective.
