Depression 8 becomes Tropical Storm Hanna, the 8th Atlantic named storm of the season and we still have a week left in July. 

In 2005, the year with the most named storms (28) and 3 of the most devastating Hurricanes in US history (Katrina, Rita, and Wilma), The eighth named storm was Harvey which became a tropical storm on August 1st.
