I'm wrapping up all 8 seasons of The Practice, which I've been watching on Hulu.

 

Loved the first 7 seasons of this show and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new show.

 

But man, the 8th season. They sure did spend a lot of time setting up their spinoff show, Boston Legal. Part of me feels like you'd be totally fine just ending the series at the end of season 7.

I really enjoyed the dynamics between all of the main characters and a few of those that returned from time to time. Definitely didn't care much for the direction when Alan Shore was introduced. Changed it too much.

Wife wanted to watch it, so going through it again. Almost done with Season 2. Really love this show.

On Prime now, if anyone cares.

I always loved the show, and I agree, when they did the change with Alan Shore in Season 8, it was a change for the worse.  I did love Denny Crane when he was introduced in the backdoor pilot episodes, and from the bit I watched of Boston Legal, Alan was a much better fit for that show.
