Maddie did not return to the game...up and down and reasonably mobile, but on the bench for the second half...at one point it looked like she was pleading with the trainer to let her back in (good for her)

Here's my guess...I'm not a trainer, and saw this one from 15 rows up...but I have been around a while.

I'm guessing mild knee sprain. not wrapped in ice, like she would have been with something more severe on the knee. No tape on the ankle, which is why I'm guessing knee.

Recovery time? who knows...my prayer is she's able to finish her high school career at full speed, on the court with her teammates.

She had ice on her ankle at the end of the game.
