A mod can close this one I posted the score in the Girls basketball forum. I thought that's where I was when I originally posted.

Shaelyn Steele stepped up big in this game. Without her I doubt Russell wins.

Great job by Russell to knuckle down in the second half and get the win over a team that bested them twice in the regular season.

Haven Ford is a stud. Period. Twenty points, fourteen rebounds, four assists, and five steals for the Rowan freshman. And Shaelyn Steele was no slouch tonight either. Nineteen points (15 in the second half) and five assists for the Russell 8th grader. Kate Ruggles also contributed some big baskets in the fourth quarter to help Russell advance.

Really good basketball game tonight between two good teams.

I agree about Ruggles. I am glad her injury didn't end her career. Haven Ford is a great player.
