Joe Benton is usually as good as gold from the free throw line but that front end bonus miss with 20+ seconds remaining was huge. If he had made both free throws that would have put Estill County with a 3 point lead. Instead Knott Central was able to get into the lane on their end of the floor, draw a foul on Estill and hit both shots to go in front 45-44 with around 15 seconds remaining in the game. Benton got a good look at a 12 footer to win the game but it was off the mark and Knott rebounded and ran out the clock.
