The Dragons (BGP #17) scrape out a win over the Hawks.

Central did not trail before the first overtime session, and led by as many as 11 in the fourth quarter. LaRue County hit well above their norm from three, and kept chipping away at the Dragon lead until they tied it with less than a minute remaining in regulation. In overtime, they again hit a three to tie it with under a minute left, with each team missing chances to take the lead. Finally, in the double overtime, after LaRue grabbed their largest lead of the game at 71-67, Central scored the final six points with less than 40 seconds to go to take it. They got an easy basket, then got a steal and layup thanks to their full court press, then a transition bucket after LaRue missed a go-ahead jumper in the lane with less than 10 seconds to go. This is just LaRue County's second loss at home since the start of 2017 (the other coming to John Hardin this year in the 2A Classic) - a first class win for the Dragons. They've now won 11 in a row entering their district semifinal game on Tuesday.
