Carroll turned the ball over way too much. Owen plays good defense. Neely had about 20 for Owen. Neither team will make very much noise outside of their district.

Plain and simple Carroll has no guards. Owen's Neeley and Downey were too much for CC's backcourt, When a post player hits 4 threes you know something is wrong. Carroll never got focused after the first 5 mintues in the 1st quater. Owen just is the better team. Great job Neeley and Proctor:thumb:

Coaches for gallatin were at the game salivating to get at both teams. I am sure 12/15/06 could have potential to be a long night for Carroll County. They need to get it together.

Carroll's guards needs to get it together. You won't win most games if you play 3 bigs and 2 who don't but if you have nop guards thats what happens. But yes, long night for the panthers but they need to watch for Henry Co. this coming tuesday.

Gallatin is VERY strong this year. It could be an ugly game for the Panthers.

Yes, the guard play was horrible, but I didn't see the "BIGS" get very much accomplished in this game either.

Is keith welch seriously a cheerleader? No wonder the team is going down hill, i wonder if roberts and his crew were contemplating this swith too?

Welch was a cheerleader the night that Trimble played him. He seemed to have some collegiate level skill (strength) in that area. More power to him.

 

Did he play basketball last year? Even so, I wouldn't imagine that he would be the winning-losing force for Carroll's BBall team.

He was definitely not the winning force, but he did help the team. IMO he was better and more experienced than allen, or cable.

Welch would have definately helped them in two critical areas: ball handling and athleticism.
