Garrard County Lady Lions broke a 36-game losing streak to Lincoln County with a 56-52 road win in Stanford. Garrard led by double digits most of the way but some shaky foul shooting and a couple of big threes by Lincoln allowed the Patriots to stay close. Lincoln was without Asbury signee Trinity Shearer who is dealing with an ankle injury. This was Garrard's first win over Lincoln since December 11, 2006 and first win at Lincoln since January 2, 2004. First year coach Jimmie McCulley has the Lady Lions 13-11 and has done a very nice job with this club.

McCulley is doing a great job. Protege of Judie Mason.

Congrats to the Lady Lions!
