What was the deal with the uniforms and why the afternoon final?

I’m not sure on either some kind of rule about the home team wearing white or light colored uniforms. The funny thing was that the officials never mentioned anything about it at the pregame meeting. They went back in the room and called the head of officials according to the official. To Coach Mendenhall’s credit he even said he did not want the T called. What makes it even worse in the semifinal game between Scott Co. and Marion Co. Scott Co. wore their red uniforms and Marion wore maroon uniforms and no technical was assessed in their game.
