Drew Boyd scored 28 points to lead the Dragons in a 2A, Section 2 victory.

Last year Warren Central had ACS on the ropes in this very same round of the 2A Sectional, blew a lead twice, and lost in overtime. This year, they never let them off the mat. Central used a 9-0 run (all by Boyd) midway through the first to push a 4 point lead to 13, and it was never closer than 7 afterwards. They'll take on the Franklin-Simpson/Hart County winner from tomorrow's game in the sectional final on Saturday.

I was at this game ACS played hard but couldn't quite get the win. A few questionable calls by the refs that could've maybe swung this game the other way. Then again though, they did lose by 22. The players seem to be involved for ACS, but maybe not fully bought into the process that coach is preaching. I talked to the coach after the practice that I attended.
