December 28, 20196 yr Iowa (10-3) had zero difficulty in pounding a overrated USC (8-6) team last night. The Hawkeyes Nate Stanley (Menomonie, WI) threw for 213 yards and two scores to lead the way. Tyler Goodson (Suwanee, GA) and Tyrone Tracy Jr. (Indianapolis, IN) combined to rush for 71 yards and 2 big touchdowns. Ihmir Smith-Marsette (Newark, NJ) and Brandon Smith (Lake Cormorant, MS) each grabbed a touchdown pass. Nick Niemann (Sycamore, IL) had a pick six, from 25 yards out. Kedon Slovis (Scottsdale, AZ) threw for 260 yards and 2 scores before leaving the game due to an injury.

December 29, 20196 yr I think USC will be back, this just wasn't their year. JD, Helton is the worst coach in Division I. His teams are undisciplined, they don't practice physically, the players run the program. Should have been fired last year. There has been a darn near revolt in Los Angeles since he has been retained.

I just don't feel they are as far away as you do, but then again I don't follow them closely.

They are not far away. They have the 4th most talented roster in the country. The players don't get fully developed. Broke an hour ago, Defensive Coordinator Clancy Pendergast and Special Teams Coordinator John Baxter have been fired. This is a step in the right direction.
