Final.

Charlie Bechtel was in the game one time late in the 3rd for a couple minutes. I have to wonder if Charlie was able to get in the game coming off the broken foot why he did not get more time. Russell could have used him earlier in the game before they got down 10.

Both teams looked bad, Russell just looked worse which was expected in the 1st game. Russell needs to find some offense, they struggled to hit 40. They Just did hit 40 at the buzzer. Free throw shooting was extremely bad for Russell. If Russell can't find more offense and get much better from the charity stripe they won't win many this year.

I think the announcer on kool hits 105.7 said on the post game, 9 for 20 from the free throw line.

At first I was disappointed in this result, but you have to allow for an acclimation period for the players and their new coach. It might take a little time for things to fall into place. Plus, Charlie J and Malakai are playing catch-up to the rest of their teammates. And lastly, Boyd just has a really good program. It doesn't seem to matter what they lose from the year before, Randy Anderson always puts a quality team on the floor.

@DevilMayCare Russell Red Devils just got a shout out on ESPN sports center! Wish we would have won though.

What was the context? Was it a game highlight?

ESPN the Ocho

Michael Eaves on espn gave the shout out.

"We can only hope to do as well as our ESPN Ocho crew tonight at Russell high school in Kentucky. To the nba we start where the bucks were trying not to do what the red devils did tonight, Lose at home".
