November 18, 20196 yr Author Well the answer is no. First terrible job by the o-line to allow a sack there with only a 4 man rush. Then throw a game ending interception under pressure again by just a 4 man rush 0-10.
November 18, 20196 yr Author Right now I’m leaning to Finley is not the answer, his strength is supposed to be accuracy and I haven’t seen that yet. Run defense was much better today but the pass defense is still just pathetic. How many passes did we contest or knock down today?? The answer is: 1. The one that Bates picked off, pass defense has been the same for 4 exhibition games and 10 regular season games, receivers just running open free all over the field, not even Jackson makes any plays anymore. I keep harping on this but with their situation they need to make Williams a linebacker, there’s not a TE in the NFL, I’m 60 and he couldn’t cover me!!
