swamprat
It's going to be a long one this year. I have to keep reminding myself that in the middle of January, last season, St. Louis had the worst record in the NHL. Hope springs eternal, but the gut-punch of getting swept in the first round of the playoffs after the dominating season they had, last year, has taken a toll on this team. It's weird. The Bolts are off to Sweden to play the Buffalo Sabres next Friday and Saturday in Stockholm, in the NHL's 2019 Global Series. Also, in an exceptionally weird move, Louis Domingue was traded to the Devils for a conditional 7th pick in next years draft. Vassy has been less than adequate and Curtis McElhinney hasn't been all that and a bag of chips either. Domingue was 21-5 with a .908 save percentage and won 10 games in a row last season. This makes no sense to me.
Run To State
I get what BriseBois is trying to do, but at this point the Bolts are't the well-oiled machine they were during the regular season last year. The team chemistry just isn't what it was.
