25-19, 25-23, 14-25, 9-25, 15-13

Heartbreaking loss for the Lady Devils after coming back from two sets down. They looked more like themselves in the third and fourth sets. Gotta give Rowan credit, though. They've had Russell's number in the region tournament in recent years.

Coach Perry's built a strong program at Russell. Five out of six years winning 20+ games and now back to back 30 win seasons. They're in the mix every year. All that's missing is a regional championship. If she's there for the long haul, I believe those titles will come.

Russell has ended Rowan's season more than they have ended Russell's over the years. Congratulations to Rowan County on your win though. Good luck in the Finals.

I'm proud of the comeback effort after being down 2 sets to none. I think Rowan having home crowd advantage certainly didn't hurt Rowan. Rowan definitely fed off the crowd.

The program was actually built by Darrell Adkins, but Perry is doing a good Job. She just needs to get a few region titles now. Darrell led Russell to all 6 region titles and made Russell what it is today in Volleyball within the 16th.
