Dixie’s offense controlled the game until the 4th quarter when Beechwood’s defense finally got a couple stops. Very entertaining game and I enjoyed watching it.

The first half Beechwood's offense did nothing till the last drive of the half.

The second half was more even. Each team had a scoring drive. Dixie's drive got a field goal. Beechwood's drive got a touchdown. Besides the two drives, each team had two short possessions and a punt.

BW started playing their ends a little wider and the outside LBs stopped getting sucked in the middle. They were struggling early to stop Dixie.

Blind ref almost cost them their last score as the TE had 3 feet down in the end zone. Luckily Moore was able to come down with one on the next play.

That was a good adjustment by Beechwood's coaches. The Dixie jet sweeps were hurting Beechwood in the first half and Beechwood fixed that problem in the second half. That was one of the key adjustments that helped win the game for Beechwood.
