October 1, 20196 yr Ausmus has been fired by the Angels after one year. He was a finalist for the Reds job. If he had gotten the Reds job and performed the way he performed for the Angels, would the Reds had fired him? I realize the Maddon may also be a variable.

If he had gotten the Reds job and performed the way he performed for the Angels, would the Reds had fired him? I realize the Maddon may also be a variable. I tend to lean towards this. Had the Cubs kept Maddon, I think there's still a chance Ausmus has a job.
