Holy Cross Indians at Cincinnati Country Day Indians Football | 9/13/219 7:: PM | Digital Scout live sports scores and stats

In the battle of Indians (Kentucky vs. Ohio), Cincinnati Country Day scores 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to beat Covington Holy Cross 38-20. After HC held CCD to a field goal early in the 4th, Brandon McClendon took the subsequent kickoff 75 yards for a TD to give HC a brief lead at 20-17. However, CCD running backs Ethan Howard (11-111-2) and Matthew Adkins (19-97-1) took over offensively (both with scores in the 4th quarter). M. Adkins also later added two interceptions within a minute off HC backup QB Javier Ison, the second being a pick 6. Starting QB Hayden Spencer (9-18-126-0-2) had to leave the game early. WR Brandon McClendon (6-98-0) once again had a strong game in addition to his kickoff return for a TD. RB Denzel Moses (14-79-1) did well in getting the start tonight. The first three quarters were very even, but CCD prevails at the end.

Holy Cross (1-3) will stay on the road to face Newport Central Catholic (2-2) next Friday night 9/20 at Newport Stadium.

@Colonels_Wear_Blue will be thrilled to know that HC offensive and defensive lineman Gaven Steward scored his second rushing TD of the year tonight! He has 9 carries for 25 yards and 2 TD's this year.
